I’m passionate about all aspects of screenwriting. I’ve completed many professional courses on writing and editing, and have an M.A in Screenwriting, (Goldsmiths, University of London ). I’ve gradually built up a business for editing skills and teaching, and I’m also interested in and am available for, re writes and troubleshooting. I love to collaborate and develop projects, working with actors wherever possible to bring scripts to life and help develop them. I have several projects I’m working on right now. In a climate where there is less and less money for developing scripts, it has become very important for writers to present scripts of a very high standard, with the ‘Spec Script’ becoming more common in the UK. I have a range of services aimed at helping both writers and producers, ( below). I always welcome queries, and I can often work out a package depending on the project.
1. Classic industry report: 5 pages appx. Synopsis, notes and observations on structure, dialog, format,character: Good for producers and directors, and those wanting an overview. £75.00
2. Personal consultation/development meeting (1 – 2 hours), plus written notes and e-mail follow-up: Sometimes face to face is the best way to troubleshoot problems with story and plot. Great for writers and producer/writer teams. £120.00
Follow up development 1-2 hours, plus e-mail follow-up. £90.00
3. Personal Tuition: In one hour segments with follow-up e mails and phone calls if needed. First lesson £90.00 ( about one and half /two hours) Follow up lessons £60.00 per hour.
4. SNAPSHOT! Struggling with a new feature length project, or need feedback on style, structure and form? Want to know if it’s on the right track? Send me the first twenty pages and a synopsis, and I’ll give feedback and pointers! 2/3 pages. £30.00.
5. Short script analysis. Anything up to 18 pages. A synopsis, and feedback. 2/3 pages. £25.00
